NW SHAKIR SAMIR is by Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion ARABEST SAMIR, a paternal brother to a National winner in western pleasure. He is a double grandson of U.S. National Champion Halter NABIEL+/, sire of World and National Champions in halter and dressage. Athletic ability is a NABIEL+/ hallmark and his grandget have won National Championships in halter and multiple performance disciplines. ARABEST SAMIR traces to AK ELZAHRA MONIET (sire of a National show hack winner and grandsire of National winners in dressage and jumper) and to *FAKHER EL DIN, whose get have produced National winners in sport horse in hand, dressage, and jumper. He also has a strong element of Babson blood from lines which produced National Champions in multiple performance disciplines.
NW SHAKIR SAMIR's dam SHAKIRA AKA has three lines to U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion THEE DESPERADO+, the all time leading Egyptian sire of champions. She is closely related to halter champions ANGELS ENVY and MAHROUSS HHA. She is a 3/4 sister to PREMONITION RCA (sire of a National Champion Sport Horse In Hand), who is also by THEE DESPERADO+ out of a daughter of *MISHAAL HP. SHAKIRA AKA's dam MISHAALS MIRABELLA is a full sister to JUNO RCA, dam of regional champion mare and U.S. Egyptian Event Silver Champion Filly GAIA TF (herself dam of U.S. Egyptian Event Gold Champion Colt and regional dressage and sport horse in hand champion INVISION MFA).
MISHAALS MIRABELLA is a paternal sister to Israeli National Champion Mare and National Champion producer SANIYYAH RCA, granddam of 2020 U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion AOTH ARIA IMPRESSIVE. MISHAALS MIRABELLA's grandsires are World Reserve Champion Colt and World Champion sire ANSATA SINAN and regional halter champion PIMLICO RCA. SHAKIRA AKA's maternal granddam, PIMLICOS PROMISE, is a 3/4 sister to U.S. Egyptian Event Breeders Challenge Reserve Champion Filly ANNA BELLA.
